Grauman's Chinese Theater Ceremony

Friday 11-4-11 update: All videos are now on YouTube. Scroll down to view!

We did it! Strike me down if I ever complain about being too tall. My monkey arms came in handy today!

I arrived just after 4 in the morning and was 94th in line. *phew* The early birds in line slept there as evidence by the sleeping bags and cushions. At 6 am, they moved everyone to the back of Jimmy Kimmel Live (alley) then up to the corner of Hollywood and Orange. They took our names and gave us our numbers. Initially, they said that they would let in 120 people but after seeing the numbers and counting they went will 100. Good thing too because otherwise it would have been really crowded and uncomfortable. At 8:30 am, they started handing out wrist bands. Once you got these you were good to go.

S. Meyer
It wasn't much longer that they herded us behind the barricades. The sun started rising then and we weren't looking forward to watching everything with the sun in our eyes. Luckily, the sun went behind a building and I was in glorious shade.

The ceremony started out with Jimmy Kimmel saying hello and introducing Stephenie Meyer. She said hello and thanked the actors blah blah blah. She looked really great though. I loved her dress. It was super cute. Jimmy then introduced Rob, Kristen and Taylor. They said thank you, we're so grateful, blah blah blah.

This was our view for 99% of the hand and foot printing ceremony:
No amount of screaming would get these security guards to move. It was frustrating to say the least. I took hundreds of pictures and they basically as worthless as this one.

Thankfully, our heroes are super classy and turned around and spent some time signing autographs and taking pictures with the fans (just us 100). Check out the link below for all of the pictures I uploaded.

My dive into Twi crafts

So I'm on a fun binge. My weekends are filling up quite nicely. Two weekends ago I gathered up some girlfriends and we spent several hours at a Color Me Mine. For those of you who don't know what that it, it's a crafty store that's all about painting and decorating pottery of all kinds. They have plain ceramic (?) pieces for you to paint on. You then leave it there for them to glaze and fire and then pick up the finished product.

To get the suspense out of the way. Here's my Twilight themed pasta bowl:

This bowl is based off of the first book in the Twilight series. See it? It's my version of the meadow scene with a lion and lamb in the middle surrounded by wild flowers. The outside of the bowl is painted the darker green of the edges with dark green and olive green trees to represent the forest surrounding the meadow. I love it. Needless to say, my girlfriends were oohing and ahhing over it and immediately had craft remorse.

How I did it: I had the idea of this in my head. I just didn't know how to do the lion and lamb in the middle. So I do what any savvy girl does. I Googled "lion lamb".  The image on the right is what I was trying to draw. I didn't want to be quite so literal so I flipped the picture horizontally. Originally I sketched this onto the plate then started to paint. The paint started to smudge the pencil marks to I erased all but a faint few lines. They tell you that you can't paint light colors over dark so I had to paint the white of the lamb first. What I did was paint a white blob to cover the area then took the brown and a very thing brush and painted a brown outline around it. The green came next. They say to do a minimum of three layers of paint for the color not to fade after firing. I tried to leave the "lion" as empty as possible and tried to really define the bottom of the lamp. I covered the entire bowl in the new grass green. The lion is two shades of brown. It's tedious painting, waiting for it to try, and re-painting to get the colors to fix. The darker brown shows up in his mane, the tip of his take, and in his nose/mouth feature. I was going to do eyes but my brush wasn't fine enough. I started to paint a face on the lamb but the paints doesn't lead to fine lines and I quickly wiped/painted over it.

Then I covered the sides of the bowl a medium green and with a medium brush, made lots of grass strokes to represent blades of grass. I made sure that it almost touched or went over just a bit onto the bottom of the bowl into the light green. Then I took a dark green and painted the edge and the rim and re-did the blades of grass onto the medium green. Once all dry, I covered the sides of the bowl with "flowers". Dots of purple and blue, blossoms of white, petals of red and orange and hints of yellow are sporadically spread out. I didn't want to overwhelm it with too many flowers.

The outside of the bowl was painted in a similar but simpler way. All dark green with thick trunks of brown and happy little trees (ala Bob Ross) in a darker and dusty greens. I signed the bottom and called myself done. Overall, it took around two hours. I spent a lot of time hemming and hawing over little details. We're going back next month and I'm determined to not stop until I have a whole Twilight set. I'm thinking that next time, I'll paint a New Moon plate.

Rochelle Lefevre and me

I had a day off today and it's a pretty lazy day. I woke up at noon, checked my e-mail, listened to some NPR, etc. After reaching the end of the internet, I decided to check out what's going on in Twitter land. I'm scrolling through various tweets when I see Rachelle Lefevre's (who plays Victoria in Twilight and New Moon) tweet:

When I read this tweet, it was about 10 minutes old. I live about 12 minutes away from Mission Hills so I'm thinking "If I leave the house and head over there... I can probably meet her!" I was delayed from leaving the house but I leave and make my way over there. In my head I'm thinking of things to buy so I'm not obvious in my Twilight cast stalking hobby.
I enter the store, very nonchalant, grab a basket and notice that there's a little crowd by the express lane. "Great, she's still here," I think to myself. I grab some pears, a coke, Ritz, oatmeal and some Boysenberry jam (snacks for work tomorrow) and make my way over to the express check out lane.

She's there at the end, autographing someone reusable bag that she's helping to give away. I've actually brought my own bags but my purchases and my bags are packed away in these bigger and nicer ones. I notice that she's got her stuff slung over her arms and her group that she's with is packed and ready to leave. I have my stuff in one hand and with the other I'm pulling out my camera. Meeting "celebrities" never gets any easier. My heart is pounding and my palms start to sweat.

I make eye contact with some of the people that she's talking to and sheepishly smile at them. I go up to Rachelle and ask, "Um.. Rachelle? Can I bother you for a moment? Could I take a picture please?" Cue blush, more palm sweating and apologetic smiling.

She's still talking to her people. I've no idea what she's saying. I'm focused on not looking like a complete idiot and failing miserably. She puts her stuff down on the counter. I ask the guy she's talking to, "Could you.. uh, take our picture?" He chuckles and says, "I was waiting for you to ask me."

We stand next to each other and I've got a shit eating grin on my face. He takes a picture but my camera decided to be a ninja that afternoon because it doesn't beep and I can't hear the shutter. We're asking.. "Did it take?" Rachelle and I giggle and take two more pictures for 'just in case'.  Here's the result:
Rachelle Lefevre and me with a WeeGee face =D

I then asked her about the reusable bags that Vons was giving out (which was why she was there in the first place). She told me that the bags were designed by Homeboy Industries and were bought by Vons to give out to promote their efforts of "jobs not jail" and to promote Rachelle's effort to support a nation wide ban of plastic bags from supermarkets. I'm in favor of this idea. She praised me for the bags that I brought in myself. Cue more smiling.

She was really nice, friendly and articulate. I had a really great experience and it completely made my day.

This is how the Saga will end

We're several hundred days away from the release of the first part of Breaking Dawn. I imagine that this, right now, it was it's going to feel like when the entire Saga is done. It's a bit... boring in the fandom right now.

PhotobucketI can't remember what I did pre-Twilight. I read a lot of different books than I do now and I think I watched a lot more television. I don't watch any now and I read a lot of Twilight smut fan fiction.

Anyway, I joined a Twilight forum and I'm chatting with other Twilighters. We share Rob porn pictures, we joke, and right now for the summer, we're banding together to loose some weight. I've never met these ladies but they encourage me to eat healthier and get outside and exercise.

I also got addicted to another book series complete with fan sites, podcasts, fan art, fan fics, etc. What am I reading? The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. This is a great series and I'm anxiously counting down the the third, and last book, in the series.

I think, when all is said and done and I still feel like blogging, I'll probably turn this into a Twilight fan fiction blog because I love it so much =) If you haven't read any or maybe you have and didn't like it, I highly recommend you give it a (second) chance. Head over to my fan fiction links on the right (--->) and find a story that strikes your fancy and tell me how you like it. I love talking about fan fics.

What's going on next month?!

Ok so, here's what's been going on since the last time we "saw" each other. (Note: I'm random and all over the place with this post.)

The Vancouver Twilight convention took place May 14-16th. Twilight Lexicon did an interview with Catherine Hardwick, on the floor (her choice). I really couldn't care less about Catherine Hardwick. She bugs and she keeps adding her two cents to every Twilight related story whether we ask for her opinion or not.

Collectors edition of Eclipse and the trade paperback came out. Do you own the Collectors editions? I don't and I don't think I ever will. It's seems kind of silly. Is it really worth it? I was thinking of getting all the books in paperbacks, since I don't want to ruin my hardbacks, but I just got my eReader (insert huge smile here) so I'm re-thinking that bit.

Rob went on Ellen. He was adorable and sexy as all hell.

He's in Southern California now (I'm breathing the same air as him ^_^) shooting Water for Elephant. He even looks good covered in dirt and wearing his sexspenders.

There are lots of TV spots for Eclipse now-a-days. I really don't watch TV but I see them (and download them) on-line. I'm really excited now. It's getting so close!

You can listen to some of the tracks off of the Eclipse soundtrack in various places if you know where to look. Jonathan Low by Vampire Weekend, Atlas by Farnfarlo, and an article about how the bands were chosen.

MUSE's single is available to download on iTunes but I just go to YouTube and listen to it there. I've been hearing it on the radio lately and I like it more and more the more often I hear it.

A bunch of Eclipse promotional posters have also come out to grace a bus stop near you. They're ok. Jane looks like Chloe Sevigny from Big Love (pictured). Robward looks amazing in blue. He should always wear blue or go naked (guess which one I prefer?)

If you didn't know, there will be an Eclipse Twilight Convention in Los Angeles June 11-13th. I swore to myself after going to the New Moon convention back in March, I wouldn't do another again. It was ok the first time but not something I'd do twice... that is until Rob entered the picture. I've flipped-flopped on whether or not I should go and I figured, this is a once in a life time opportunity, it's just money and I can't take it with me, and I'm young so I might as well enjoy myself.... at least that's what I was chanting as I was purchasing my weekend pass for the convention. Yet more time off from work that I'll need to take off. It's worth it though. I'm going to try and get some hidden camera footage (they don't like you taking video). *rubs hands in anticipation*

I just purchased my midnight showing tickets about an hour ago. Why so late? Well I was waiting for a particular theater to start selling their tickets. They have reserved seating so no waiting in line hours before, trying to get a good seat. It was well worth the anxiety (bit a finger nail off) and the price. About $13 per ticket. Not too shabby.

What makes me extra Twi-tarded is that I also bought tickets for a double feature of Twilight and New Moon right before the midnight showing. A chance for cafeteria Edward and shirtless Edward on the big screen? Sign me up! It start at 6:30pm. There are intermissions between each film but I'll be basically spending 8 hours inside the theater. If it gets too much I'm planning on sleeping through the James bit in Twilight and the Wolf Pack bit in New Moon. I'm Edward's girl, he had dibs on my attention.

Between the red carpet premiere and the movie release, I'm going to Seattle for a cousin's 15th birthday (yes, it's what you think; I was guilt tripped into going). But we'll be up there for four days and the party is only for one so I'm thinking that a side trip to Port Angeles and Forks is in order.  Time to make the pilgrimage to where it all began. I really want to do this, hopefully my family will understand when my sister and I bail on them to drive down there.

*smacks head* I almost forgot (because, really, is so forgettable). That Bree Tanner novella is coming out June 5th. You can read it for free on Stephenie's website or buy it anywhere books are sold. I'm going to read it first then buy somewhere... preferable with a coupon. It's one of those things that falls into the "gotta have" category.

I think that's about it. If I have an awesome encounter with Jackson Rathbone tomorrow when I go see 100 Monkeys I'll let you know, otherwise here's looking forward to a long Memorial Day weekend.

Note: The MTV Movie awards are on June 6th where an exclusive Eclipse clip will premiere. New Moon has 5 nominations. You can vote for NM here.

Happy Anniversary to me!

Dear fandom,

So the anniversary was actually yesterday but it was one year ago when I moved my Blog of Everything Twilight from LiveJournal to Aurora Fades. Time really does fly when  you're having fun.

A lot has happened but I'm really looking forward to the coming 365 days. There's Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, going to Forks/Vancouver, new fan fiction to read, new friends to make... you get the idea.

I'm thankful for this series, this fandom, fan fic smut, delicious Rob pictures, and you!

You are my life now,
-me

p.s. Rob, call me. ^_-

It's my birthday...

So it's my birthday. My real birthday, not the day that I discovered Twilight (though that should be celebrated too). I'm twenty-something and life has been good so far. It could be totes better if this yummy man over here (pictured) would realize that I'm The One, but I can be patient.

I'm thankful for my friends and family that have supported my Twi-life and my new friends that I've found along the way. Thanks for being there and lettin' me fan girl with ya'!

I'm looking forward to the Twilight convention in a few weeks here in LA, the Eclipse premier and possible going set stalking once Breaking Dawn is green lit.

Here's wishing for a naked Rob-filled year!

See you in 2010!

Happy Holidays Everyone!

Lots of stuff I haven't added my two cents on (Taytay on SNL, Rob and Emily going Vogue, etc.) and probably will be to lazy to write something up. The holidays are here which means Twi merch! I've already received the New Moon Game board and it's pretty good except for two Trivia Cards which are absolutely wrong and ridiculous and my piece only came with 6 game pieces instead of 8, but it's pretty fun and engaging.

You probably won't hear from me until January, or if Rob's secret photo shoots leaks, so until then, have a safe and happy holiday season.

:0)

New Moon is out... now what?

It feels like I've been waiting forever to see New Moon. Now that I have (several times), everything seems anti-climatic. I've looked at the interviews and "spoiler/leaked" footage that came out before the movie and it's like "yea, I remember that bit." Though I'm really really glad I remained spoiler free!

It feels a little early to get hyped for Eclipse. I'm still coming down from my New Moon high. I have a ton of Twi-related stuff to do but even with all that, I feel a little lost.

In no particular order, I need to:
- Save a bunch of HQ photos that are coming out (magazines, photo shoots, events...)
- There's a bunch of fan fiction chapters I need to catch up on.
- I need to re-read Eclipse now.
- Catch up on all the Twi-blogs since I went on a spoiler strike a month ago
- Make another Midnight Sun copy and/or hand bind another fan fic favorite

But I can't find the excitement/energy to do any of it.....

I might need a break from Twilight. (OMG I can't believe I just said that...)

Maybe it's like I need to feel the withdraw of Twilight before I can get in my super-fan mode. Or maybe all that camping out and staying up at night is finally catching up with me.

Or maybe not. I've downloaded a cam version to see the movie and I watch it whenever I can, usually just the Edward parts. I listen to the soundtrack and the score on repeat everywhere I go, including work. I think about Rob... a lot. Sometimes when he's Edward.

I need a Twi-pick-me-up and get re-energized! I need a Full Size Edward or a mini-E to have adventures with. haha

Update: This made my day!

Rob sleeps naked! *swoon*

Questions for the cast

I'm compiling a list of question to possibly ask the cast at the LA Hot Topic event. What do you think? Have any suggestions?

1. What are you looking forward to after the series is over?
2. What has been the most embarrassing moment for you during filming? Is it also your funniest moment?
3. What is the most surprising thing you have learned about your co-stars?
4. Are you aware of all the Twilight fan fiction that's out there? What's your reaction to that?
5. What did you like most about filming in Vancouver?
6. What is the biggest lesson or the most valuable thing they've learned while filming and promoting The Twilight Saga?
7. Everything seems to be larger in compared to the first Twilight movie, especially the amount of paparazzi. How do you each go about your daily lives in the face of this?
8. How did you approach your character? What of yourself did you bring to your character?
9. (Fort the new kids) What was your reaction when you found out you had gotten a part in New Moon?
10. Do you guys even have free time? What do you do?
11. Greatest challenges on set? Any really difficult stunts?
12. Ninja vs. Samurai, who dominates who?

Meet Up and talk Twilight

So today was my first (the group's second) Pasadena Twilight Lovers Book Club meeting, and it was great. If you're in the area and you love Twilight (why else would you be on my random blog?) then come join us.

I made three new friends who share my love of this series and they made a overly obsessed and addicted friend in me. :-)

I don't normally post twice in one day but I had to plug my new group.

It's a slow Twi-news day. I'll just leave you with this nice story.

Encounters with non-Twilight fans

Being a Twi-fan that's "out" (ie: I'm not ashamed to take my Twilight lunch box to work and buy Twilight related magazines even though I'm dogging curious stares like taxis in NY) I get a lot of crap and eye rolls. I roll with it though. They don't know what they're missing.

If I get curious overtures I'm not afraid or ashamed to totally pimp out the books to others. I've gotten a few co-workers hooked and just yesterday gave another the first book with the promise that I'll bring her the second on Tuesday.

It's mostly from my guy friends that most of the banter comes from. One asked me during lunch, eyeing my lunch box, who the Cullens were. Without too much detail I calmly explained that the 300 year old vampire Carlisle is the figurative head of his family who've all adopted his last name of Cullen.

When I wore my Bella charm bracelet the others didn't know what it signified but the fans at work squeed in delight at seeing it.

One time at Borders, I was checking out with a Twilight magazine and the guy behind the register asked,
"Twilight? Really?" (He's wearing an exasperated expression) "Is this for you??"
"Yep!" I smile happily. I'm thinking if I seem normal and nice, this guy will understand that even cool people get addicted to fun stuff like this.
"Ugh!" he exclaimed. (or maybe not?) "Why can't you say it's for your little sister or niece or something?!" "I hate Twilight. I just don't get it." He rants further.n"A guy came in and bought the books and I asked them who they were for and he said they were for himself. I told the dude, 'Dude, you can't tell people that. Say they're for your girlfriend or something,'" he said shaking his head.
Now I've got an incredulous expression plastered all over my face thinking 'What the hell's your problem. Ring me up you douche so I can tear into them already!'
What I say is, "Oh...well... I love them and I'm not ashamed to admit it.. it's like Star Wars... but for chicks." (God I wish I had witty comebacks.)

Now I get a little feeling of trepidation when I buy magazines... I just hope a girl checks me out but if it's a guy I try to think of something to say to him to shame before he shames me.

Whatever. This Halloween, since I work Saturdays, I'm dressing up as Bella (from the New Moon Italy scenes) to work. =D They'll all assume that I'm just wearing normal clothes but the fellow Twi-fans there will get it. That's what matters. I'll take pictures of myself... whether I post them up here or not is another thing. =P

Up 'till now..

There's been a lot of Twi-crack out there, pretty much everyday, for me to drool/squee/swoon to. If you don't know what I'm talking about... well go troll the blogs and find out. There's just too much to link it all!

What I'm most excited about is (in no particular order):
1. My "Bella's charm bracelet" came in the mail today! And of course, I'm wearing it right now. It's cute. I try to keep the charms in full view to flash to other possible Twilighters that 'I am one of you. Talk to me.'

2. The track listings for the New Moon soundtrack was announced today. Excited that MUSE will do a rendition of I Belong To You just for the movie! I was reading the lyrics and some of them are in French! How cool. Then there's The Killers, Bon Iver, Grizzly Bear etc. on the soundtrack too. I can't wait for Oct 22. I pre-ordered it through Amazon but it wouldn't be delivered until the 22nd! As if! I cancelled that and I'll probably download the whole album from iTunes on that Tuesday.

3. The second MeetUp for the Pasadena Twilighters Meeting is next Sunday. I'm looking forward to meeting women obsessed passionate of the series as I am.

4. From the people who brought you The Sexy Stars Of Twilight, they're coming out with a second installment this Friday! mmm... Robert =D~

Oh and I stumbled on this nifty site where you can get info on the clothes worn in the movies and try to 'dress like ___'. I'm going to dress up like Bella for Halloween (New Moon Italy scenes). I've got a green shirt, skinny blue jeans, and I just ordered my KEDS. =D I could totally wear these clothes everyday so it's not really a "costume". Maybe I'll wear it to the midnight show? Possible.

Oh and another thing, it was all over the blogs this morning that they cancelled the London premier of New Moon and will only do a WORLD Premier in LA on Monday, Nov. 16th.

I love the universe and it looks like the universe loves me because I have that Monday off. I am totally going to drive to LA early in the morning... probably by myself, and watch the whole red carpet thing LIVE! I really want to find someone to fan girl with me... =/ Anyone? Anyone?

Right now I'm working on the timing to the subtitles of my Comic Con DVD. They're a bitch to do but I'm determined to have them. Also on the DVD will be the Entertainment Weekly interviews, the press conference panel, a slide show of pictures taken that day, and much more!

Don't worry Lili, I know I promised you a copy. I hope you're patient 'cuz this is taking a long time to do.

Comic Con 2009

The exhaustion was SO worth it!

Here's the run down of my day. Important stuff will be blue, all other stuff like details will be in black ('cus I know you just want to read the good stuff but I want to write down everything!)

Tuesday:
I'm super excited all day long fantasizeing about the crowd, Rob, screaming, Rob, awesome people in costume, Rob, etc. I've been lazy that last couple of days trying to get a t-shirt made to wear to the convention. I placed in my order (by phone and e-mailed the graphic) and they said that it would be ready by the end of the day on Wednesday. Awesome, just in time.

Wednesday:
I'm excited. My sister and I are driving down to San Diego tonight. I come in early, 7am. I get about 5 hours of sleep. I confirm my order for my shirt, they said that they would call me when it's finished. It shouldn't take long. It's a heat transfer. What that is is you basically print out your design (in my case a quote in all black lettering to make it easier/faster) and you iron it on to transfer it onto the shirt. So I was thinking that when they said 'end of the day' they would mean their business day. Great. So I left work early (4:30pm), went home, packed for the the next two days and when 6pm rolled around I gave them a call. No answer. 16 calls and 2 messages later I decided that I couldn't wait for them to call me back or answer the phone so I went down to the store. It was on my way to my sister's house anyway. So I arrive and they're closed! They're business hours are from 9-5:30. WTF! I call again and leave a pretty pissed off message. I'm so mad at this point. Mad and broken hearted. I was soooooo excited about my shirt and now hopes and dreams were squashed.
Defeated and playing some angry music, I drive to my sister's place. We're driving down to San Diego tonight so we wont have to tomorrow morning. About an hour into the car ride to San Diego I get a call. Guess who? That's right. The motherfucking t-shirt place. Apparently there was a 'family emergency' and he had to leave the store blahblahblah. It's 10pm when he calls claiming that he didn't have my phone number to call me earlier. He sounds really sorry but I was still pissed off and wanted to tear someone's head off. I just don't get it. There is no excuse. It does not take an entire DAY to freakin' IRON ON a t-shirt design. They should have called me HOURS ago. Several days later I'm still pissed just remembering it. I'm leaving them really bad reviews to warn other people. This is just not how you run a business!

We leave my sister's place around 9:30pm -ish and we hit really really bad traffic 20 miles from our hotel. They shut down 3 of the 4 lanes to do mantainance! We're stuck in the god forsaken traffic for almost an hour and went probably 2 miles. Screw that shit! We exit and take surface streets further down the freeway and pick it back up again. We don't arrive at our hotel until 1 in the morning. I have to shower because I've been at work for nearly 10 hours and stuck in a car for 3-4 hours. We finally crash at 1:30am and set our alarms for 4:30 am.

Thursday:

We get up, get dressed, get ready and leave. It's 5:30am. We head to the convention center. There are a lot of people walking around and a lot of cars on the road. We make it to the parking structure and get a really good parking spot. We walk over to the front of the place and find the line to get out badges "Line for Thursday Badges Only." It's just after 6am. The line is so long already! The people at the front of the line have camped out. There are pillows and sleeping bags and people doing their make up on the cold concrete. (Red box is where we are, green box is where it starts. Click on pic to expand)

There are about 1000 people in front of us. The hall seats 6500 people (it's massive). I don't remember what time it is but it's 9ish. We stand. We wait. We munch on granola bars. We sit. We wait some more. There's a cute family in front of us. The Mom has a homemade Edward/Bella shirt and her kids are dressed up as super heroes. (The red line is the line. I'm somewhere on the squiggly grass area. Click on pic for a larger image.) We end up waiting for several hours. Luckily though it's San Diego and it was cloudy and breezy though around 12:30 when the line starts to shuffle forward, the UV index starts to pick up and we get sweaty (sexy!).

The front of the room is packed and there are lots of people ambling around trying to find seats too. We head on over to the other side of the room where it's not as packed. There are greeting signs on the GIANT screen that are suspended from the ceiling (the blue lines). (click on pic to expand) The green rectangle is the stage and the small red square is where I'm sitting (I have a great view of one of the screens and my super HD camera took lots of great video).

The first panel of the day is Disney: A Christmas Carol, Alice in Wonderland, and TRON. All in 3D. The Christmas Carol one looks really cool. Jim Carey plays 8 different characters. Then Tim Burton came by to talk about his Alice in Wonderland movie. He answered his questions and we ended up watching the trailer (in 3D) three times! It looks super cool. Then they had a sneak peak at TRON. I've never seen the origional because it came out in 1981 but I remember the iconic images. The one that's coming out next year looks super neat and high tech. The leading man is super hot which doesn't hurt!click to view larger

Then there was the next 3D panel featuring: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Hole and finishing with Final Destination. The first one looked cute, story and animation wise. The second looked stupid and scary. I'm sorry but I do not deal with dolls that look like clowns that come alive! Hell No. Then there was Final Destination (reminder: all this was in 3D). I don't need to see bloody flying parts flinging towards me in all it's gruesomeness. I'll pass on that.

And then there was the Summit panel featuring: Astroboy, Sorority Row, and The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Astroboy - blah. Sorority Row - hated it. New Moon - SQUEEEEE.

There are videos that are already uploaded on YouTube. Click here for links to watch the Q&A. Note: this isn't my video. These guys were a lot closer and took vids of the actual people, I was further back and took vids of the screens so you get to see the actors throughout the entire Q&A (I love Robs facial expressions!)

They presented two clips of the New Moon movie. You can read the details of the clips here. Note: I actually have these clips but I'm reluctant to post it on YouTube because I want to be nice to Summit. (aww)

I love other bloggers that do all the work for me =D

Ok so after watching the second clip I pretty much fucking lost it. I fangirled so hard. Here is the YouTube video I took after watching the last teaser scene. You can hear me scream, loudly. Watch it here.

We stuck around Hall H to catch the Avatar panel. I assumed it was Avatar: The Last Airbender movie. It wasn't, it was James Cameron Avatar. Which was cool... it was very pretty. But I was expecting to see M. Night Shyamalan and Jackson Rathbone that direct and star in the movie.

Finally, when we exit the Hall it's around 5pm. We head on over the main exhibit hall were EVERY comic book store, t-shirt vendor, video game company, movie company, toy company, artist, etc. etc. are there. This place is HUGH and very overwhelming. We did a walk by through the whole room. We didn't spend time at any one booth before sensory overload and exhaustion take hold on us. We leave.

We exit the parking structure at 5:50pm, get something to eat, grab coffee and cookies and drive home. I'm soooo tired but the coffee and Linkin Park help me make it through.

Next time I'm getting a 4 days pass. You need 4 days to see everything. There is just SO much there.

Anyway, I had a blast.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR NOVEMBER 20th!!!!!!!!

I'm putting together a DVD for some co-workers (and myself) of all the video that I shot including the teaser scenes ^_-
Be nice to me and I'll make you a copy.

I am so happy

I'm very passionate about things. This week it's:
Robert Pattinson
Twilight fan fiction
and
Comic Con

Out takes of Rob's USweekly shoot came out. Instant ineedachangeofpanties pictures. View here and here (untagged photos)

Then my favorite fan fics updated. I screamed when I saw that Wide Awake updated and cried after reading it. I also gave big sighs at Tropic of Virgo when I finished reading the latest chapter.

And Thursday is Comic Con and I'm am abso-fucking-lutly excited about it. I can't even begin to describe just how stoked I am to go.
