I've started a separate website dedicated solely to Twilight Fan Fiction called: The Lit of Twi. I have all the fan fictions listed here on the site plus more. I won't be adding anything to this page anymore. I'll only update at the other site because it's too much of a hassel to update the same thing in two locations. Thanks! =DNEW: I've taken down the links to download a pdf file of some of these stories because I think you should have the opportunity to review the chapters on their story. They're not gone forever. I'll be starting a "Library" on my new site: The Lit of Twi shortly. I'll post on this blog when that happens. So keep track of the "Recent Updates" (upper right hand corner of the page) for more news.
This is a sub list from the master Fan Fictions to Read list. Only completed stories are here, most available to download as a pdf file.
New to fan fictions? Read my Fan Fiction Basics. It should help you with everything you should need to know about this addicting medium.

A Child of the Night by l'heure bleue
Intro/Summary: C AH Edward Cullen is a normal boy but is detached from the world until he comes across a vision at night, dancing in a meadow. Bella Swan has a rare disease, she's allergic to sun light. Shunned by her mother, she lives alone with her father and tries not to drown in self pity. This is the story of how two disconnected people finding themselves in each other.
Why I like it: This is slightly connected to When She Smiles. You don't need to read either to appreciate the other. This one is sweet and the Bella is very vulnerable and sometimes weak but it belies the quiet strength she possesses. Edward is a normal teenager being thrown some heavy stuff but he's loyal and loving.

A Murmur of Fire in the Vein by ElleCC
Intro/Summary: C AH Jasper/Bella One stormy Seattle night, the last person Bella expects to see appears without warning at her door. How will history—hers and his—impact their unexpected and growing friendship?
Why I like it: Very engrossing and very easy to get lost in the story. I just kept reading and before you know it it's one in the morning. This story is very OOC so for people who can't see Bella being shipped by anyone else but Edward, this one isn't for you. In this story Bella was with Edward and Alice was with Jasper but their relationships didn't work out and on a chance meeting, they developed a friendship that went beyond "oh you were their boyfriend/girlfriend". Life is about chances, second ones too.

A Rite of Passage by caracol
Intro/Summary: C AH OOC Bella and Edward are best friends. A story of self discovery and a loss of innocence. This story is about how two people deal with sex, love, trust, friendship all while growing up.
Why I like it: This story is simplistically beautiful. It's fairly short but very well written. The imagery and emotions you go through in fifteen chapters are mesmerizing. There is a sequel titled "The Way Back" scroll down for my review.

A World Without Sound by The Romanticidal Edwardian
Intro/Summary: C AH Edward and Bella are best friends; they've known each other since they were small children. Now, seniors in high school, they're still just best friends but each secretly in love with the other but fear that acknowledging it will ruin their relationship. Can they finally open up to each other? It gets even more interesting because Edward is deaf.
Why I like it: Edward's deafness isn't a handicap for him, it's a bridge that brings him closer to Bella because they share a deep bond. It's a very sweet story with a little spice of the citrus variety. It's also a complete story. Edward's vulnerability and angst about his deafness makes for some great drama.

Alphabet Weekends by the-glory-days
Intro/Summary: C AH Edward and Bella work, go to college, are best friends, each single, and live together. They both have pent up physical frustration and decide to satisfy their needs with a game: Alphabet Weekends, to spice up their boring lives.
Why I like it: Lemons are hot in this, plus the plot keeps you curious for more character development.

An Unfortunate Look into Bella's Lovesick Phyche by inthestars
Intro/Summary: C AH Bella is the new girl in Forks and Jessica and Mike take it upon themselves to get her into the right crowd. During lunch she spots a guy reading poetry by the vending machine and crushes bad only to have Jessica come and "save" her for social suicide. Apparently, Edward Cullen, a poetry reading, keeps to himself guy is certified dangerous. The evidence: he brought a gun to school. Drama occurs.
Why I like it: You crush on Edward right along with Bella and eventually get to unravel the mystery that is Edward Cullen. The characters are fun and well written and the story propels them to their eventual end. Plus, it's completed and not too long. A really great read.

Bella Swan: Kidnapper by Kambria Rain
Intro/Summary: C AH OOC "Um. Hi. I don’t really know how to say this, but I have your kids with me, and I was thinking maybe you would like them back. So yeah… call me."
Why I like it: I re-read it the day after I finished it because it's such a great piece. Very funny and I love all the characters. Read it now!

C 5 6 by ss10
Intro/Summary: C AH People just assume that you're my nurse." Edward is a quadriplegic, 10 years after his accident he meets Bella — a socially inept wanderer. Together they come to an understanding, one that challenges all palpable perceptions.
Why I like it: The characters feel very real, not dramatized at all. They're both vulnerable and strong in their own right and they're both working it out together. For me though, it ends rather suddenly and looking back, the whole progression of their relationship is really quick and there are some loose ends that aren't that important but it doesn't give a satisfying "end" feeling. 16 chapters, so a quick and unique read.

Caged Bird by Kristen Nicole
Intro/Summary:C AH Shy Bella Swan lives with her religiously zealous mother, Renée. When she has a chance meeting with town hellion Edward, Bella begins to realize that perhaps the sheltered life she's been leading isn't so much a comfort as it a cage.
Why I like it: Beautifully written, a real page turner. Not too long but not too short. I finished in about a day. My only qualm, which is really tiny and insignificant, is Edward's quickness to love Bella. Otherwise, I'm really really glad I read it. It's a fic that you re-play in your head all day.

Carpe Noctem & Fiat Lux by queenofgrey
Intro/Summary: C AU Bella tends bar in sleepy Forks wondering why she's wasting her life but her life changes when she's almost killed. Edward, alone, buys a house and tries to start a new life in Forks. He's getting the feel of the town in a little bar and as he's throwing up all the beer that he's been consuming in the bathroom someone, with a mind altering scent, comes in. He almost kills her but he wants her blood so badly. Bella's insatiable curiosity to understand why some stranger wants to kill her and Edward's
Why I like it: It's vivid with it's descriptions, especially with Edward's reaction to Bella's smell. The Cullen siblings are showing their cohesiveness that I haven't seen in may fics and I absolutely love their bonds with each other because it reminds me of mine.

Cien Anos De Soledad by HappyInLov
Intro/Summary: C AH This is a story of a girl, finding herself in Guatemala & Seattle; a child, shuffled, loved, and growing; a boy, figuring out what makes a man; and a family, expanding and understanding what unconditional hope and love look like.
Why I like it: A giant hug and thank you to my friend who told me I "had to read this". It's so amazing. The writing is superb but his lost amidst the imagery and realistic lives of her characters. Heartfail at time, it'll pick you up with a goofy smile on your face.

Clipped Wings and Inked Armor by hunterhunting (moved to Twilighted)
Intro/Summary: C AH OOC Haunted by her past, Bella is broken and alone. Starting over, can she let go of the guilt that consumes her when she meets a beautiful tattoo artist or will his own personal demons destroy them first?
Why I like it: I never gave much thought to pierceings and tattoos but both on Edward is fuckhot. Besides the hotness, their stories are really dark and interesting. This will be a classic in the "fics you need to read before you die" sense.

Creature of Habit by EZRoksAngel
Intro/Summary: C AU Bella lands a job right out of college and it's as a personal assistant to Edward Cullen who heads the Pacific Northwest Trust. Edward's private and secluded life leads our curious Bella to discover what kind of man he might or might not be.
Why I like it: I'm not a fan of AU in general. This is an OK read. The tension between B and E is good and makes for some great chapter fodder, jokes are good, Bella is the right mix of intelligent, sexy and stubborn. I read it while waiting for better fics to update.

Devil's Angel by ObsessingOverEdward
Intro/Summary: C AH Edward Mason distracts himself with his Harley, freedom and the many women he has waiting for him up and down the California coast, that was until he met his Beauty who turned his world upside down.
Why I like it: There isn't anything you could do to Edward that would make him less-hot. It seems like when you take him out of cannon, he becomes hotter. This is biker Edward. His "fuck you all" attitude, dark past and a beautiful brunette make for some good time filled with the drama of real life.

Down & Across by hmonster4 and TheHeartOf Life
Intro/Summary: C AH Emmett/Rosalie 20 down: feeling deep affection or passion for; 17 across: to believe, desire, or trust. A daily fix of summertime fluff about a small town boy, a big city girl, and what happens when they give into the simple things in life.
Why I like it: This is very light, fun and a great fic to get you smiling again after another angsty fic has torn your heart out and made you cry at 2am. Rosalie isn't written as the standard fan-fiction Rosalie (either the cold bitch bent of ruining everyone's life, or the awesome college roommate who you can't live without). Emmett is still a big teddy bear but he has substance. He has motives, good and bad days. It's really nice to see him shine. When Emmett is written well, everyone wins.

EARTHQUAKE! by Thallium81
Intro/Summary: C AH When a virgin is kidnapped in the jungles of Isle Esme, a daring anthropologist rushes in to the rescue. But will they be able to escape the island before falling victim to the predators, natives, and pirates?
Why I like it: Wonderful! It's interesting, suspenseful, funny, I could go on and on. Not angsty at all but not uber fluffy. It's mystery and it's adventure, so saddle up!

Eight Days A Week by 107yearoldvirgin
Intro/Summary: C AH Bella Swan needs a Nanny. Edward Cullen needs a job. Accepting the Manny position will change his life forever...and may just help him grow up in the process. Snark, humor, lemons and Edward in a towel. Seduction has never been so juvenile.
Why I like it: Edward taking care of kids is my Kryptonite. In this story he's a male nanny... a Manny. Cute but one of my best friends is named Emmanuel and I call him Mani so it's weird for me to call Edward a Manny.. even in my head... Anyway, this story is getting off to a great start. He's my Towelward. =D~

Faking It by spanglemaker9
Intro/Summary: C AH Half of Hollywood’s most famous couples are faking it. That’s how Bella Swan’s publicist convinces her to pretend to date troubled Hollywood bad boy Edward Cullen. And she'll do anything for her band and her music.
Why I like it: The first three chapters are really slow so it's hard to get into the story. It's mostly exposition and setting up the "arrangement" but from then on out it's fun times. Edward never sounded so sexy =P

Fourteen by crimsonmarie
Intro/Summary: C AH High school is brutal. It's even worse when you're not a size two. Worse than that? Having a major crush on the biggest, hottest jerk in high school. Even worse than that? Being paired up with him for a science project.
Why I like it: First, she's an awesome writer. This story encapsulates and plays out the insecurities of a very typical teenage girl. It's brilliant in its characters, the flow of the chapters is so fluid and you're not conscience that you're hitting the next chapter button until there aren't any more. It feels like a completed story at 12 chapters. It's stunning and poignant. I highly recommend this story and any others by crimsonmarie.

Geek Love by SassenachWench
Intro/Summary: C AH Humor, romance, healing and rampant geekitude collide in this Edward & Bella love story. A funny, quirky love story about two computer geeks whose playful friendship turns into something more.
Why I like it: Please read the author's warning at the start of the first chapter. This story may not be suitable for all readers. That being said, I greatly enjoyed this. It got really deep and heavy but I love all forms of geeky-ness. Science, nerd talk, etc. Edward and Bella are awkward, socially inept and clueless. It's fun and sweet with a bit of darkness to balance it out.

Holding Out For You by ObsessingOverEdward
Intro/Summary: C AH After her divorce, Bella starts a new life with her son. She soon meets a handsome doctor, who is dealing with his own loss and is struggling to raise his two kids. It's a story of finding strength during adversity and learning to love again.
Why I like it: I Love Dad-ward. It's so hot and endearing and stirs up all my lady parts. The interactions between parent and child and then parent and fellow parent are fun and quirky and make for some good drama. UPDATE: Ok, the previous was written when I was only at chapter 8, now I'm at chapter 26 and holy crap is this fic good! There are 50 chapters to the story plus a few out takes. This is so good. Rated M by the way. Note: Re-reading it, the beginning is a bit slow. I think it was better the first time around.

If Love Could Light a Candle by Pastiche Pen
Intro/Summary: C AU Edward Cullen is a vampire, telepath and a psychologist. When a new patient ignites new feelings within him, can he reconcile his past with his present and possible his future?
Why I like it: Every chapter flashes back to his "rebellious" time when he left the Cullens to feed on corrupted humans which relates to the present situation somehow. It's good but a chaotic at times and, for me, fast paced.

In Another Life by the_glory_days
Intro/Summary: C AH/AU A retelling of Twilight (rated T for teens). When Edward Cullen is killed in a car accident, it’s Bella Swan who finds herself helping his ghost find out why he died. All told from Bella's point of view.
Why I like it: It's different and really good. Edward is a ghost and his "vampire" powers are explained as being attributed to being dead/a ghost. Bella is the only one that can see him though and together the go through the who Twilight book but try to discover why/how he died. In This Life are a few chapters of this story but told from Edward's point of view.

Inked by ARenee363
Intro/Summary: C AH OOC Edward is a college student/tattoo artist when Bella stumbles into his shop to get another tattoo and ends up in one of his classes. What happens when sexual tension erupts? Will they realize they are perfect for each other?
Why I like it: This is an ok story. Read it if you're between fics. The characters are predictable and a bit shallow. Read Clipped Wings and Inked Armor (scroll up for review) if you want UST and sexy tattoos and piercings.

Into they Mystic by 107yearoldvirgin
Intro/Summary: C AH Bella Swan has a wall up and it's about to come crashing down. Working with Edward Cullen for 3 years, she's never spoken to him, until a new marketing project forces them to interact. Can he crack her shell? "WTF? Did he just mouth 'semen'?"
Why I like it: The first few chapters hooked me so I had to finish. Overall is a pretty good angst fic with some pretty good lovin' action going on. Her characters are cookie cutter and sometime over the top predicable (hyper, shopping loving Alice and ice bitch Rosalie, etc.). The ending is really long and slow but there are really sweet and profound moments through out the whole story that makes it endearing.

Just Got Lucky by Authenticstar
Intro/Summary: C AH Rosalie wins the lottery along with a date with the infamous actor Edward Cullen. She's already dating Emmet and offers Bella her date. Bella accepts, but has no clue who the actor is. Indifference turns into humor which turns into something else.
Why I like it: Bella is strong and very OOC. Edward is jaded but sentimental. It's a fun read, a bit predictable, but not boring. There are lots of people laughing/crying which kind of annoys me at times.

Love Amungst the Ruins by theladyingrey42
Intro/Summary: C AH Bella begins a new job at a university library but she's haunted by dreams of earthquakes and the presence of a mysterious and (literally) broken Edward. Can they rescue each other from their pasts, and maybe find love in the process?
Why I like it: I like that these characters are troubled and pained for understandable reasons and not just because. They help each other work through their pain but family and mixing business with pleasure shadows their infant love. The way the author unwraps this story makes me not want to put it down.

Master of the Universe by SnowqueensIcedragon (on Twilighted.net)
Intro/Summary: C AH Bella Swan is drafted in to interview the reclusive, enigmatic Edward Cullen, multi-millionaire CEO of his company. It's an encounter that will change her life irrevocably, leading her to the darkest realms of desire. Adult themes.
Why I like it: I started reading this a long time ago but stopped near the beginning because I wasn't interested in reading about a BDSM relationship. I've picked it back up and I'm so glad I did. I thought it was going to be gratuitous sex the entire time (porn pretty much) but it's so much more than that. These characters are complex and detrimental to the other. Chapters aren't too long but there's a ton of them!

Memoria of Aeterna by americanxidiot
Intro/Summary: C AH She wakes up. She know she's in the hospital. But that's all about all she knows. She doesn't remember why she's there and doesn't remember her own name. A meeting with another patient opens the door to life again, but is living something she wants to continue after hearing she's in the hospital after trying to jump off a building to kill herself?
Why I like it: This is amazing! She's an awesome writer and now I want to read all of her stuff. This is three chapters but every sentence is beautiful. Go read read read!

Midnight Desire by Twilightzoner
Intro/Summary: C AH This is an All Human version of Midnight Sun but it's completed and doesn't drop off where Midnight Sun does. It is all told from Edward's POV and instead of vampire Edward lusting after Bella's blood, human Edward is lusting after her body.
Why I like it: This is a glorious story and well written and well beta-ed by psymom. It's smut'tastic, lemonilicious, and hawt! (which spell check doesn't recognize.) Mature audiences only.

Momento Mori by Rosette-Cullen
Intro/Summary: C AH Bella's dream is to get into the English department at Dartmouth and will do anything to achieve that goal, even if that means becoming her best friend's girl friend to do it. Jacob promises her teacher recommendations and recruiter interviews because he loves her and wants her. But Bella's got a problem, she maybe with Jacob officially but she's been a frequent visitor to Edward's bed. What's a hormonal teenager to do?
Why I like it: It's completed and it's short (16 chapters). Bella is very OOC and her selfishness gets on my nerves but she's a teenager and they do stupid things, especially to those they care about. It has a happy ending so it's not a complete loss. I just wish this Bella wasn't so flakey and grew a pair. =/

Mr. Horrible by algonquinrt
Intro/Summary: C AH Edward is the heir to the Cullen estate and he's out with his mother Esme at a local art gallery and he can't take his eyes off of this brunette girl that flitting through the exhibit, intrigued he follows her outside ... Bella is a free spirit, a lonely free spirit after her best friend James ditches her at the art gallery to go chase some hot male ass tail leaving her without a ride home but she hasn't gone unnoticed.
Why I like it: Edward and Bella are completely different people from completely different worlds and for a moment step outside of their respective bubbles to peek at the real world only to end up staring into each other's eyes. This is such a great fic!! Each chapter is pretty short and full of fantastic culture references that has you ROTFL.

Over the Top by starfish422
Intro/Summary: C AH Slash This is a Jasper/Edward story. Love is love, even man love. M for lots-o-lemons and mature situations. Edward is an unabashed pleasure seeker but one night at a club he meets a man that will rock the foundations of his entire life. This is Edward's struggle to realize that 'No man is an island'.
Why I like it: To the core it's a love story. It's filled with regrets, anger, sex, comfort, love, disappointments, and anything else Pandora let loose. The writing and story telling are great. This kind of story isn't for everyone.

Poughkeepsie by Mrs.TheKing
Intro/Summary: C AH Bella commutes from the Poughkeepsie train station into New York for school. She's a caring friendly person and has a smile for everyone on the platform including the homeless man in the shadows. Edward is 23 and he's homeless. She doesn't know it but it is for the smiles that he stays at the Poughkeepsie station. When the current of the river takes you into unfamiliar waters do you look ahead at the adventure that lies in store for you or do you look behind to the familiar for safety?
Why I like it: It's very sweet at times, others it's tragic. You want Bella to win but is Edward the way he is for a reason? Is there anything Bella can do??

Progress: The Original Sleep Humper Love Story by 107yearoldvirgin
Intro/Summary: C AH "There is no real diagnosis. He's what we affectionately call a 'sleep humper'." Sometimes love is just plain awkward.
Why I like it: This story seamlessly entwines humor and drama. Edward has this interesting "condition" that's written as a comedy but the things that these characters are anything but funny. There's lots of musically inspired chapters and fun culture references. It's very nice to read in between updates. It's borderline long with 33 chapters but very satisfying.

Reluctance by irebporti
Intro/Summary: C AH Edward is self conscience and a coward when it comes to girls. He meets Bella at a singles only Valentines party at his sisters and is smitten but keeps running away.
Why I like it: It's a short fic, compared to the others on this list. I don't feel a great rapport with this story. It doesn't hook me in no matter how hard the author tries to play up her Beanie-ward. *rolls eyes*

Shadowboxer by nobloodnofoul
Intro/Summary: C AH Edward is an underground fighter and one night Bella comes across his prone and bleeding body in a locker room and helps him.
Why I like it: Now complete. I love this story. It has lots of foreshadowing pertaining to their pasts which creates suspense and drama for a climatic ending. Fightward is all kinds of hot in this story. Note: I just re-read this and it was just as great as reading it for the first time. This has got to be my favorite meet-cute.

Silence & Security by adorablecullens
Intro/Summary: C AH Two years after the tragic death of her husband, Jacob Black dies, 37 year old single mom Bella Swan buys a house. Will the handsome single dad next door help her learn to love again? Or will Edward's presence in their lives only reinforce Bella's daughters trauma induced silence?
Why I like it: This is a family fic but mature audiences only for some lemon action. I like how Bella and Edward are older and have kids, just not with each other. It's sweet and the story is lovely. Not too long and it's completed. A satisfying read.

Stay by crimsonmarie
Intro/Summary: C AH Bella and her boyfriend Jacob are living in upstate New York when they get a new neighbor that moves in across the street. Edward is a hot Hollywood actor that likes to get away from the lime light and relax and he's decided to buy a house in New York and take a much needed vacation. Mix in jealousy, papparatzzi and beer and you get Stay.
Why I like it: Very real drama with real characters. It's fun and easy to get hooked into. And it's finally completed! Hurray for HEAs!
Tags: Work force, Discovery, Hurt, Comfort, Angst, Romance
Stop, Drop and Roll by Bronzehairedgirl620
Intro/Summary: C AH Edward is a fireman (great mental image btw) and saves Bella from her burning apartment. Bella and Edward are very sweet together but things start to get sour when Edward's past gets in the way of their relationship.
Why I like it: It's like reading a soap opera but minus the kidnapping, murder, and amnesia. It's just a great story!

The Discovery of Bella Swan by mskathy
Intro/Summary: C AH Bella looses her mom in a fight with cancer and then looses her dad in an accident. The same day she finds out about Charlie she walks in on her boyfriend, Jacob, cheating on...with Mike. She heads off to college to make a clean start to figure out who Bella is.
Why I like it: This girl's life just keeps getting shit on but she's such a strong character and with the help of some great people she finds along the way, she starts to find a life that she's always deserved. There's the "you go girl" -ness to the "crap, that totttttally suck" - ness all mixed into one.

The List by LauraACullen
Intro/Summary: C AU Post Eclipse. Bella makes a lost of fantasies she has with and about Edward that she'd like to do before she becomes a vampire. As the story progresses she's able to cross out a few things at the same time adding new ones to the list. M for lemons!
Why I like it: You get the sweetness of fluff with the juicyness of the lemons and sprinkle a bit of humor in for kicks.
Tags: High school, Discovery, Romance, Smut
The Lost Boys by hwimsey (moved to Twilighted)
Intro/Summary: C AH Take an up and coming band, three best friends, one Victorian house, two ghosts and San Francisco and you'll be close to the awesomeness of The Lost Boys.
Why I like it: Great character chemistry and a dash of really good mystery in a well worded/written package.

The Mirrors by adorablecullen
Intro/Summary: C AH It started with two people who loved each other but couldn't be together because her family didn't think that her blind suitor could support her. Two generations and two mirrors later, their grandchildren find each other in another world only to have it ripped violently away. This is the story of their rediscovery.
Why I like it: It is a fantasy story. Keep reading, it'll be worth it. The magic in the story makes it endearing and the heartbreak almost unbearable. It is a wonderful piece.

The Port Angeles Players by WriteOnTime
Intro/Summary: C AH Bella is a wreck. Her roommate airlifts her away from the douchbag that is Jacob and takes her to Forks where she lands a job teaching English. With coworker Jasper, they audition for Much Ado About Nothing where she meet Edward; sparks fly but will she ever be able to trust another man again?
Why I like it: It starts of really slow but give it a few chapters and it gets sweet and a bit hot. They both have their insecurities and try and help each other out. They both have sordid pasts that get in the way of their budding relationship. The humor is pretty good too.

The Screamers by KiyaRaven
Intro/Summary: C AH Living on the streets is hard for Bella Swan, but not as hard as putting up with Edward Cullen when he drags her into his lifestyle of sex, drugs and Rock and Roll. Will they be able to help each other before they kill each other?
Why I like it: This is rock star boy meets fierce homeless girl. It has lots of cursing and some dark themes but it's funny. Short chapters and a fun story. Edit: There is a dash of RPF-ness in this story which is completely off putting for me. So much so that I can't finish. I enjoyed the beginning but once Robert Pattinson becomes a main character and not a passing mention, I run for the hills.

The Trip Home by mskathy
Intro/Summary: C AH OOC This is a Bella/Jasper/Edward fic. That being said, there are a lot of lemons. Mskathy writes some fantastic smut. The story: Jasper and Edward have been friends since High School but when they become roommates in college, the sexual tension bursts and they share more then friendship together. On their way home to Forks for the holidays, they reconnect with an old acquaintance from High School, Bella Swan.
Why I like it: Mmm smut. I love the lemon and slashy types but this author combines the two and it's just hot. Plus, there is an actual plot to all the sexy times. Best of both (or all three) worlds!

Why I like it: This is a great version of new student Bella tutoring I-don't-play-by-your-rules Edward. It's got some great original characters and some good plot twists that make you want to keep reading. Read everything by this author. It's all gold.

The Way Back by caracol
Intro/Summary: C AH OOC A sequel to "A Rite of Passage" (scroll up for my review). This is a story about becoming an adult, dealing with your past and your future.
Why I like it: The characters we loved in "A Rite of Passage" have certainly grown up and the story is all the better for it. It's longer and more intense.

Tropic of Virgo by In.a.blue.bathrobe
Intro/Summary: C AH He's a young but jaded musician writing lyrics for his band, and she's a naive, frustrated poet looking to break out of her shell; their world collide online. What happends when they meet in high school, unaware of their literary connection?
Why I like it: It has killer music and poetry in every yummy chapter. You want E and B to just get it but they don't and it leave you hanging (peasantly).

Under the Apple Tree by danieller123
Intro/Summary: C AH Love that hurts can sometimes heal. Ever wish you could go back and change something you did in life? Bella does.
Why I like it: I started reading this story coming out of a high school angst funk/binge and it was just what the doctor ordered. It's mature in its style and content, it's engrossing in its poetry and the lives of her characters. It's heartbreaking, sweet, tragic, and gives you the good tingles in your toes too. It makes me reflect on my own life and what I take for granted. It makes me want to be adored and cherished.

Wide Awake by angstgoddess003
Intro/Summary: C AH This is my favorite fan fiction and I'm not just saying that because it was my first one. It has everything you were looking for and everything you didn't know you wanted. It's about two people who are struggling to live with the trauma of their pasts. They discover that their each other's only way to cope with the pain but dependency like that isn't good, for anyone.
Why I like it: It has humor, angst, hurt/comfort, cookies and unicorns (this will be more meaningful after you've read the story). I LOVE this story. It's so haunting and captivating. I have stayed up entire nights reading this story. It's so good. You have to read it.

Withering the Ferns by angstgoddess003
Intro/Summary: C AH What more do I need to say other than "This is written by AngstGoddess003!!" That should be enough to click on the link and read non-stop until the last sentence of the last chapter. Seriously! Go read now and thank me later.
Edit: This story was for the Twilight Gift Exchange. Bella Swan is a disaffected socialite whose sent off to live with her Dad in Forks. After a minor car accident with town bad boy, Edward, they become lost in the woods. With sexual tension at its height, why does Edward look like he's holding a secret?
Why I like it: I already said "AngstGoddess003 wrote this".
