Getting ready for the Eclipse premiere

UPDATE: Summit has made in information page regarding the Eclipse Premiere here.

I'm five part excited and five parts filled with trepidation. Summit has giving us some more details and some ground rules to follow while camping out for the Eclipse premiere on Thursday.

One of the things they mentioned is the size of the tent you're allowed to bring: 4'x4' (16 sq. ft) pop tent. I have combed the various outdoor sports shops and other stores looking for something like that and besides a "Princess Camping Pack" that's meant for 7-year-olds, this does not exist. Four feet by four feet?! I haven't been four feet tall since the third grade! (I'm pretty tall).

I don't what we're going to do about sleeping. We'll mostly be in a giant square, in stead of a long slinky line, for the first two. I'll bring an inflatable mattress and a sheet. Maybe with my chair I can build a fort.

The best parking lot that I found is on the corner of S Flower St/W 8th St (entrance on Flower). It charges $7 for all day parking. It is across the street from the 7th St Metro Center and from Macy's Plaza. The bottom floor of Macy's Plaza has a Bally's Total Fitness Gym, I just signed up for my 7 day guest pass (hello showers!). The Plaza also features a handy food court with all imaginable food types.

The closest grocery story is a Ralphs on W 9th St between Hope and S Flower St. They do have a bathroom. From the entrance go to the back and far left of the store. It's in the corner by the Pharmacy.

Next to Ralphs is a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf but if that coffee (and free wi-fi) is too far for you, there is a Starbucks in the Nokia Theater plaza. Just head towards the theater.

The weather has been steady the last couple of days. It looks like it's going to be beautiful and not very cold at night. Highs are the mid 70s and lows in the low 60s. It's shorts and light jacket weather.

That's if for now. Just so you know, it sounds like they'll start handing out wristbands on a first come, first serve basis starting at 6am on Monday, June 21 (tomorrow!). I'll see you there!

I almost forgot! The LA Lakers victory parade is starting at 11am tomorrow (6/21) at Staples Center which is right across the street from the Nokia Theater Plaza. Get ready to witness even crazier people that Twi-hards! =D

What's going on next month?!

Ok so, here's what's been going on since the last time we "saw" each other. (Note: I'm random and all over the place with this post.)

The Vancouver Twilight convention took place May 14-16th. Twilight Lexicon did an interview with Catherine Hardwick, on the floor (her choice). I really couldn't care less about Catherine Hardwick. She bugs and she keeps adding her two cents to every Twilight related story whether we ask for her opinion or not.

Collectors edition of Eclipse and the trade paperback came out. Do you own the Collectors editions? I don't and I don't think I ever will. It's seems kind of silly. Is it really worth it? I was thinking of getting all the books in paperbacks, since I don't want to ruin my hardbacks, but I just got my eReader (insert huge smile here) so I'm re-thinking that bit.

Rob went on Ellen. He was adorable and sexy as all hell.

He's in Southern California now (I'm breathing the same air as him ^_^) shooting Water for Elephant. He even looks good covered in dirt and wearing his sexspenders.

There are lots of TV spots for Eclipse now-a-days. I really don't watch TV but I see them (and download them) on-line. I'm really excited now. It's getting so close!

You can listen to some of the tracks off of the Eclipse soundtrack in various places if you know where to look. Jonathan Low by Vampire Weekend, Atlas by Farnfarlo, and an article about how the bands were chosen.

MUSE's single is available to download on iTunes but I just go to YouTube and listen to it there. I've been hearing it on the radio lately and I like it more and more the more often I hear it.

A bunch of Eclipse promotional posters have also come out to grace a bus stop near you. They're ok. Jane looks like Chloe Sevigny from Big Love (pictured). Robward looks amazing in blue. He should always wear blue or go naked (guess which one I prefer?)

If you didn't know, there will be an Eclipse Twilight Convention in Los Angeles June 11-13th. I swore to myself after going to the New Moon convention back in March, I wouldn't do another again. It was ok the first time but not something I'd do twice... that is until Rob entered the picture. I've flipped-flopped on whether or not I should go and I figured, this is a once in a life time opportunity, it's just money and I can't take it with me, and I'm young so I might as well enjoy myself.... at least that's what I was chanting as I was purchasing my weekend pass for the convention. Yet more time off from work that I'll need to take off. It's worth it though. I'm going to try and get some hidden camera footage (they don't like you taking video). *rubs hands in anticipation*

I just purchased my midnight showing tickets about an hour ago. Why so late? Well I was waiting for a particular theater to start selling their tickets. They have reserved seating so no waiting in line hours before, trying to get a good seat. It was well worth the anxiety (bit a finger nail off) and the price. About $13 per ticket. Not too shabby.

What makes me extra Twi-tarded is that I also bought tickets for a double feature of Twilight and New Moon right before the midnight showing. A chance for cafeteria Edward and shirtless Edward on the big screen? Sign me up! It start at 6:30pm. There are intermissions between each film but I'll be basically spending 8 hours inside the theater. If it gets too much I'm planning on sleeping through the James bit in Twilight and the Wolf Pack bit in New Moon. I'm Edward's girl, he had dibs on my attention.

Between the red carpet premiere and the movie release, I'm going to Seattle for a cousin's 15th birthday (yes, it's what you think; I was guilt tripped into going). But we'll be up there for four days and the party is only for one so I'm thinking that a side trip to Port Angeles and Forks is in order.  Time to make the pilgrimage to where it all began. I really want to do this, hopefully my family will understand when my sister and I bail on them to drive down there.

*smacks head* I almost forgot (because, really, is so forgettable). That Bree Tanner novella is coming out June 5th. You can read it for free on Stephenie's website or buy it anywhere books are sold. I'm going to read it first then buy somewhere... preferable with a coupon. It's one of those things that falls into the "gotta have" category.

I think that's about it. If I have an awesome encounter with Jackson Rathbone tomorrow when I go see 100 Monkeys I'll let you know, otherwise here's looking forward to a long Memorial Day weekend.

Note: The MTV Movie awards are on June 6th where an exclusive Eclipse clip will premiere. New Moon has 5 nominations. You can vote for NM here.

Eclipse premiere camp out

Hurray! Summit has finally let fans know when they can start camping out:
Fans can start camping to see the event of the year - THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE red carpet premiere - is Monday, June 21 at 6am PT - Remember the premiere is at Nokia Theater!
Dude, I'm so there. A few days, that's nothing. Seriously, I was planning on starting to camp on the the 18th. :-D

I'm going to try to visit downtown before this date and do some reconnaissance. I need to find out where bathrooms, gyms (for showers), and food are near by. I was going to go today but I was tired and they were having some pre-WangoTango (SoCal radio Top 40 concert) event which means killer traffic.

5/16 UPDATE: From Summit
Allow me to clarify, and sorry if there was any miscommunication before – LA Live is not public property, and will not allow camping before that date/time. You also can not camp on the streets around LA Live. Thank you for understanding, and we hope you’re just as excited about the event as we are! Source
Is "loitering" still considered camping out? >=)

Gah! Hungry Edward is so hot. I keep watching the Eclipse Oprah episode. My face hurts from smiling.

I want to shout this post I'm so excited. I would do a mega happy dance but I'm going to settle with a squeee into my pillow.

  3. The Bravery – “Ours”
  4. Florence + The Machine – “Heavy In Your Arms”

I am so excited for these bands. This soundtrack is like my indie rock dream come true. I'm UBER excited to see Florence + The Machine. She's amazing. Knowing this, it's going to make it so much harder to resist listening to this over and over and over again but I'm going to try to obstain until I see the movie.

Eclipse Convention in Los Angeles June 11-13th: Rob, Kristen and Taylor (among other guests) are slated to attend a special Eclipse Convention. More details on Creation Entertainment's website. I will be going to this one way or another. I must. It's fate. Gah.... the screaming though... totally worth it!

MTV Movie Awards, June 6th at 9pm EST. You can vote for New Moon in 5 categories: Best Movie, Best Female Performance (Kristen Stewart), Best Male Performance (Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner), Best Kiss (Stewart and Pattinson) and Global Superstar (Kristen, Robert, and Taylor). Breaking Dawn part II possible recast?

Just when you thought there wasn't enough drama in the fandom I read about salary disputes and the possibility of re-casting. Here are a few excerpts:

"Salary dispute holding up 'Twilight 5' announcement"
EXCLUSIVE: Summit Entertainment is working furiously to close the talent deals required to split Stephenie Meyer's fourth "Twilight" novel into two films... -- and could even lead to cast changes for the series' final installment.
...director Bill Condon is already signed to film two "Breaking Dawn" movies, which would be shot back-to-back starting in the fall and released in November 2011 and summer 2012, respectively.
Deals for Peter Facinelli (who plays Carlisle Cullen) and Billy Burke (Bella's father, Charlie Swan) are done, but we're told the actors who play the Cullen kids (especially Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene) are trying to sink their teeth into bigger paydays that, at least at this point, the studio behind the billion-dollar franchise is unwilling to provide. "We may have a situation where one of them is thrown out on the street to make a point," says a source close to the dealmaking.
A deal is currently being negotiated to move the production to Louisiana (the first was shot in Portland and the second two in Vancouver and Italy). Luring "Twilight" would be a huge "get" for the state -- and, given the tax credits, a money-saver for the studio.

Louisiana??? WHAAAA?

Honestly, I'm kinda tired of the drama. I'm just about ready to sit back, relax, re-read The Hunger Games, and just wait it out (course it could all turn into a shit storm once they say they're going to re-cast Rob, there will be blood on the street!)

Also, don't forget to set your DVR for May 13th. Rob, Kristen, Taylor and Dakota's appearance on Oprah airs. This is a lovely screen capture of the Oprah promo spot on TV. Find more on Twilight Poison.

Eclipse movie and soundtrack details

Le Movie
Summit has announced that Fandango and MovieTickets.com will be selling tickets for Eclipse this Friday, May 14th. Though you might find that select theaters are already selling them in your area.

With this announcement, they also released that the total running time of the movie will be 2 hours and 4 minutes.

I'm waiting for my favorite midnight showing theater to start selling tickets. All of their seating is reserved seating. I highly recommend doing this if you can. No one wants to spend 6+ hours waiting in line.

Still no word yet on the red carpet premiere details at the Nokia Theater. Like... where do fans line up? Can fans line up? etc...

Le Music
The first single, Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever) by MUSE, will be released May 17. The album itself will be released June 8th. (pre-order version 1, pre-order version 2)

UPDATE: Well not so much as an update as I just forgot to add it here. The Latin American band Jesse & Joy will also be featured on the Eclipse Soundtrack.
“He speaks of these emotions that make you feel a love that, at a time, consider something magical, and there is a desire that makes you lose gravity. You feel like you’re flying, and it’s all love,” Jesse said in a telephone interview major Mexican newspaper. Source
The Eclipse Score, done by the brilliant Howard Shore (Lord of the Rings), will be available June 29th. Which is the same day as The Twilight Saga Eclipse: Official Illustrated Movie Companion comes out.

I'm really excited to hear the MUSE single. My heart palpitates thinking about it.

I'm also a Howard Shore fan. I have complete and full confidence that he's going to create a wonderful score for the movie. I really enjoy Alexander Desplate's work on New Moon (I listen to it on repeat when I'm reading) and I hope to add Howard's efforts onto my play list. =D
See, even MUSE's own website is excited!

Just noticed..

Ok, disclaimer time. I have a full 40 hour (sometimes more) job so the only time I have to submerge myself in all things Twilight is when I get home and crawl into my Twi-cave and pretty much shut out everything else. I don't get to look at/read all the stuff that's out there so sometimes things fall through the cracks.

So, first off... Summit has replaced David Slade's long time partner/editor, Art Jones, with the Twilight editor Nancy Richardson, according to Entertainment Weekly. What does this mean for Eclipse? Who can say. I'm slightly scared that Summit pretty much ran off David's choice of editors and seemingly replaced him with was seems like a puppet to do their editing bidding. Eclipse is a whole different animal compared with Twilight. It needs to accomplish so much more than have two characters fall in love and get harassed by visiting vampiric nomads. I want to know why Summit didn't like what Slade and Jones were producing to necessitate this change so late in the game. I just know that Slade is going to be asked this question when he has to do publicity for Eclipse... I have a feeling like he's going to sounds disappointed and try and brush off the questioner. A pox on you Summit!

Secondly... click on the "leaked" Eclipse meadow picture of Edward and Bella looking 100 shades of happy and tell me this.... is there a distinct wedding ring on Bella's left hand??!! It looks a lot like the replicas that Twilight inspired jewelry businesses are trying to sell: golden, oval, with a bunch of sparklies. Seriously, I can't wait to see this movie!

Rob flew into New York this week to promote his movie, Remember Me, which is released into theaters on March 12.

He gave several interviews to the press and was a guest on The Today Show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The View, The Early Show, and The Daily Show with John Stewart.

This is only a little bit of what's out there. There are tons of pictures and more videos. If you want more, I suggest heading over to Robsessed and Robert Pattinson Life.

Fan Fictions, DVD, and Twi-dar

I love to read. A lot. That's probably an understatement but my vocabulary is failing me right now.

I've been reading fan fiction like crazy as evidence when you check out my fan fiction blog post. I'm updating it almost every other day with a new story that I've read. I was in a slump for new stories but then I got active in Facebook and there is a group called Twilight Fanfiction Recommendations. My dry spell is no more. Lots of good stuff there.

Also, I found an really easy program to download entire stories from fanfiction.net. I have a Mac so I use DownloadedStory that I got for free from cnet.com :-D There's a similar program that you can download for PCs too.

Summit has just official announced that the Special 2 Disc Edition of New Moon will be on DVD and Blu-Ray on March 22nd!

Pre-order the Target Exclusive 3 Disc DVD here.

AWWWESOME! I look forward to deleted scene, awesome commentary by Rob, Kristen and Chris, and lots of behind the scenes stuff. I love special features.

In the January 22, 2010 issue of Entertainment Weekly, Stephen King mentioned New Moon in his bit to explain the Movie Blurb. You know when they say "The best comedy of the year!" "Magnificent!" etc.

Well, he had this to say which caught my Twilight radar (Twi-dar)
"The most romantic movie of the year!" (New Moon) TRANSLATION: "No sex. No nudity. Many smoldering glances."

If you didn't know, tonight is the Critic's Choice Awards on VH1. I had it on my calendar so it's Twilight related somehow.

MTV Special on 10/30

MTV BRINGS KILLER MUSIC TO FANS IN TV SPECIAL “ULALUME: HOWLING AT NEW MOON”

New York, NY – October 23, 2009 – MTV unleashes insane musical mayhem along with a sneak peek at an exclusive clip from “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” and commentary from cast members in the network’s first-ever Halloween special, “Ulalume: Howling at New Moon.” The one-hour program, premiering on MTV at 9pm ET/PT on Friday, October 30, 2009, will feature explosive performances by Paramore, AFI, Dead By Sunrise and Kid Cudi as they rock the stage from MTV’s Ulalume Halloween Festival, hosted by tattoo vixen and star of L.A. Ink Kat Von D. The show will also air on MTV2 at 10pm ET/PT, and on mtvU, MTV’s 24 hour college network, at 11 pm ET/PT. (Set your DVR!!!)

“The Twilight Saga: New Moon” cast members will take part in the special with Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed kicking off the TV program from one of the most feared haunted houses in North America. Fans will salivate as Ashley Greene dishes on some of the rumors that have been swarming for months. Additionally, during the Halloween special, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will introduce an exclusive, sneak-peek clip from Summit Entertainment’s highly-anticipated film “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” which arrives in theaters on November 20, 2009. (I will not watch but I will be recording it!)

“Ulalume” is the title of a poem by 19th century poet Edgar Allen Poe which possesses a rhythmic sound and repetition that gives the ballad a musical quality, inspiring the festival name.

Beginning Monday, October 26, 2009, fans can head to www.Halloween.MTV.com for a first look at some of the killer performances from the “Ulalume” festival, behind-the-scenes clips, and photos before the special airs on October 30, 2009.

Update: omg, the video is already available on-line. I will not give you the link because I'm going to save you from yourself! =D

2009 Scream Awards

So, I just got back a little while ago from the taping of Spike TVs Scream Awards at the Greek Theater in Griffith Park. Traffic was horrible but some of the people who went didn't hold back on their costumes. There were some really good ones.

Anyway, I want to share this experience with those of you who couldn't make it but I'm going to warn you now, if you don't want to be spoiled by who wins and what that new footage from New Moon is all about, then well this might not be the post for you.

In case you missed my disclaimer I will color all the really spoiler stuff white, so to read it, just highlight the text and viola!

Disclaimer: We were told under punishment of being kicked out, not to bring bags, cameras, sharp object, etc. and that we would be metal detected before entering the venue. I'm a newbie at award shows so I took it seriously. I brought in money, lip gloss, my car keys, photo ID and my phone. I should have brought my camera because a lot of other people did and they really didn't care. (so pissed!) That said, the pictures in this post are taken by my free (with contract) phone that seems to have a half a pixel so the pictures aren't so much as photographs but an abstract feeling of what was in front of me.

Arriving and the Checkered Carpet:
After braving the 101 and the 134 freeways in LA, what usually takes 35 minutes, took me an hour and a half to get to the venue. There really isn't a parking lot unless you count the grass field that we parked in a "lot". They stack us in so you can't get out until the people in front of you leave.

You've got to register before you can get in line. Not a big deal and you get a blue little wrist band. The waiting was a bit boring but it gave us time to check out the awesome costumes and the hotties walking around shirtless (but with bow ties) showing off their tatts *fnar*!

I arrived around 3:30pm and the line I was in didn't starting moving until almost 5. They were escorting us early people to the checkered carpet which is their version of a red carpet. The kids with the coolest looking costumes were on one side and the rest of us were on the other behind the paparazzi. I'm standing, facing the "stars", in the very back corner of the bleachers so I can see the checkered carpet and also the people filing into the venue and the surrounding area. Lots of people in costume and then they bring out a unicorn. No joke. A white horse with a golden horn sticking out from its forehead. They move the unicorn to the end of the carpet. Then they bring out the angels, scantly clad angels. Above the carpet are black chandeliers and swings among the tree boughs and twinkle lights. The two angels are escorted to the swings and they just sit there the entire time, barely moving.

The "stars" start to show up around 5:30pm. I put stars in quotes because most of the people that we saw arrive and walk the carpet are B and C list people, probably a couple of D listers too. But, at 5:41pm Stan Lee shows up! Who doesn't love a good comic book hero? Chances are he created your favorite hero. The cast from Battle Star Galactica arrives at 5:58pm. I only care about Tahmoh Penikett from BSG but I know him from the Dollhouse. Hottie! 6:45pm Karl Urban from Star Trek and Lord if the Rings arrives. Another hottie!

6:50pm our group gets moved inside the venue. 7:12pm they announce to everyone to take their seats. 7:34pm show starts. I'm sitting right behind the VIP boxes on the floor to the right of the stage. I have a view of one of the stages and a giant screen.

Let the show begin:
MUSE's Uprising introduces the announcer's voice. I'm really excited because MUSE is my favorite and I'm thinking "special musical guests?!" Sadly, no. They just use their song going into a commercial break and coming back from one. Overall their musical choices were spot on. During their breaks (which I thought was weird because they're taping right?) they would have music and show various TV shows opening credits like The Twilight Zone, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Alf, etc. The stage is pretty awesome. There's a giant rabbit on the right and a giant clock on the left (Alice in Wonderland was pretty popular costumes too). They had a navy blue and white marble staircase with arms railings that were on fire.

They didn't show all the awards for every category. I was really surprised that they never showed the categories where Rob was nominated in but I figured that they weren't close races and he probably won all the ones he was in. Plus, he wasn't there to accept the award and only Hugh Jackman accepted his award via satellite (or taped video message).

[New Moon nominated] For most anticipated movie the winner was (highlight below text to see):
Alice in Wonderland. Johnny Depp was there to accept the award. He was looking fine as always. They said that they would show new footage but it was the same stuff they showed at Comic Con so it wasn't new to me but it will probably be new to a lot of other people.

[Cam Gigandet nominated] For best villain the winner was:
Alexander Skarsgard from True Blood. He's really really tall and has a delicious accent.

[Taylor Lautner nominated] For best breakout performance the winner was:
Taylor! I'm really glad he didn't bring in GQ game to the awards show or else I probably wouldn't be able to contain the drool. Luckily, he was all pink cheeks and twinkly eyes and very 17-years-old.

[Twilight nominated] For best fantasy movie the winner was:
Even Elijah Wood knows what's up when he said, "Of course, Twilight!" [cue massive screams from me]. Taylor walks up to accept the award on behalf of the entire cast and crew and introduces the new New Moon footage. This takes place towards the end of the evening after True Blood wins all their awards. If the show turns out to be a 2 hour telecast, then I'd tune in for the last 30 min or so and skip all the filler stuff.

The New Moon footage:
It starts off familiar enough, a rehash of the second "Jacob" trailer. Then we hear Chris talk more about the wolves, their involvement in the story, and realizing the transformations with CGI.

- behind the camera look at the wolves and Bella confrontation. Sam holding Paul back. Bella bitch punching (doesn't look or sound like a slap) Paul in the face. Paul growling, crouching down, and then bursting up and rearing on his hind legs to stare down Bella in all his wolf-y glory.
- a look at the computer generated models of the wolves faces and their movement
- scanning Alex's 'fierce look' face (who plays Paul) for a 3D composite for the computer to manipulate
- black wolf in the shadows behind the tree branches slowly creeping towards you
- a wolf biting/attacking Laurent
- a push-into shot of a wolf's eye with Bella's reflection in it (it's ends up as a really really extreme close up when it pushes in all the way)

No Robward but plenty of Wolf Pack and half naked man bursting from their shorts transforming into wolves. Pretty cool.

This is shown right after Taylor accepts the award on behalf of the cast and crew of Twilight for Best Fantasy Film.

The show ends after Tobey Maguire gives Stan Lee the Comic Con Icon Award. Stan Lee arrives on stage on a Spiderman glider and his acceptance speech is really endearing and funny. He's the best.

Then everyone left and leaving the parking lot wasn't a complete nightmare. It was totally fun and I'm glad I wore my Chucks and not heels!

The Twilight Saga Music

New Moon soundtrack is coming out tomorrow (for those of you who live under a rock).
So it's out today, get it! The album booklet opens up into a poster. (pic on the left) I have the iTunes order and you're not really missing much if you don't get it. Here is the album artwork that came with the download.

MUSE talking with MTV about possibly showing up on the Eclipse soundtrack. New Moon isn't even out yet and we're already talking about Eclipse and rumors are going around about Breaking Dawn.

MTV also interviews Lykke Li about her track on the soundtrack and her feelings about life, love, death and Rob.
"So Li sat down at her piano and wrote "Possibility," a very maudlin song about love and pain and, ultimately, death. Lots of death. Like we said, she doesn't operate like most of her pop contemporaries."
Read more about the interview here.

Film and TV Music Conference. October 29-30th.

The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard join forces to deliver a cutting-edge, two-day seminar on the role of music in film and television. The 8th annual event provides a dynamic forum for the exchange of ideas among film, TV and music professionals. Also featured will be live artist performances, roundtable discussions, and networking cocktail parties.

On Thursday, there will be a panel with Chris Weitz, Alexandre Desplat and the people behind the Twilight and New Moon Soundtracks. More info on tickets and the event here. They're offering a special discounted price for Twilight fans who order with promo code MOON, with the code the tickets are only $199. (I'd rather buy $200 worth of Twilight t-shirts)

Update 10/30: You can read a bit of what happened at the Conference yesterday here. More in-depth details of each panel to follow.

Twi News

The bad thing about working a 10 hour day is that it takes me 2 hours to check my blog roll and when I hear something amazing, it's usually 8-11 hours after the fact and most of the excitement is gone. I love being there to comment on an awesome post and comment-chat about it.

Anyway, here's the latest in the Twi-fandom:

The Twilight Saga: New Moon Original Soundtrack will be released this Friday, October 16th. This comes from Summit's Twitter account so you know it's official. I'm pretty sure that this was due to it leaking two days ago. They say it's because of the "high demand". Now if only the movie will get leaked, then they'll have to release it now!

You can vote now for Twilight's Soundtrack to win an American Music Award (AMA) which will air Sunday, November 22 8/7c.

It looks like there are more magazines heading my our way. In addition to Kristen Stewart's November issue of Allure, Harper's Bazaar December issue with Rob and Kristen, Taylor's Rolling Stone issue, Gossip Cop says that all three will be doing an Entertainment Weekly cover. I don't need to go out and buy that one, I have a subscription! Woot! [Update: Looks like even more magazines are already out there, check out my October is Magazine Month for the new covers].

This Saturday I will be attending Spike's SCREAM 2009 Awards where Taytay will show new footage from New Moon. AWESOME!!

Update: Two new upcoming events.

Special event. Borders in LA (Westwood) is holding a "New Moon Live" Podcast with people from various Twilight fan sites. More info here.

Yet another Convention cashing in on the Twilight band wagon. They call themselves New Con. It's headliners are 100 Monkeys (Jackson's band). It takes place Nov. 6-8 in Nashville. More info here.
